ATU GIVES A FASHIONABLE START FOR THE TOURIST SEASON IN BODRUM

Operating the duty free stores at Milas-Bodrum Airport International Terminal, ATU Duty Free opened a new store at the Domestic Terminal.

As the summer season is getting closer, passenger traffic at Milas-Bodrum Airport has started to increase and ATU has begun the tourist season with a new store. Whilst shopping brings additional pleasure to airports, ATU Duty Free put into operation a new concept store at Milas Bodrum Airport Domestic Terminal.

The new store offers authentic Bodrum products as part of the cultural sustainability works. A local cotton textile brand, White by Nature, which highlights the authentic white houses in Bodrum, offers t-shirts, dresses and blouses made of fine cotton fabric. Also authentic hand loom towels and bathrobes of Bodrum made by Lalay brand can be found at the store.

Having the goal to support the promotion and selling of local products worldwide, Turkish delight, olive oil and some other souvenirs are also offered at the store.

As well as the world-famous watch, jewelry, sunglasses, bag and toy brands, the contemporary architecture of the store also attracts attentions. The store was designed to remind the waves of the sea. The 360-degree store covers an area of 140 square meters.

Following the global trends, ATU also opened the store of "Desigual", a famous Spanish brand admired with its patterns and colors, on an area of 60 square meters.

Operating five stores in total at Milas-Bodrum Airport, ATU Duty Free put into operation four stores on the arrivals and departures floors of the International Terminal, as well as the new store at the Domestic Terminal.

Milas-Bodrum Airport provided service to 3,877,603 passengers in 2015.
