History
Located between two important cities of the ancient Caria region, Milas-Bodrum Airport was opened to international traffic in 1997. In March 2014, TAV Airports won the tender for the operation rights of Milas-Bodrum Airport until December 2037. The company took over operation of the domestic and international terminals in July 2014 and October 2015, respectively. Milas-Bodrum has two runways. The airport participates in the Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA) program.
