Check-in

Check-in

Passengers are recommended to arrive at the airport 1.5 hours prior to their domestic flights and 2 hours prior to their international flights to complete their check-in transactions.

Please make sure you have your ticket, a valid passport and an ID card with you when arriving at the airport. Passengers without an ID card will not be accepted on board. All passengers including children and infants must present their ID cards during check-in procedures. Passengers traveling with electronic tickets must make sure that they know the PNR number and need to present a valid ID card. Baggage restrictions may vary by airline companies. Information on the number of baggage and weight limitations can be obtained from relevant airline companies.

Electronic information monitors above the counters and flight information screens within the terminal display details on which counter you can check-in. Passengers must apply to the relevant check-in counter with their ticket, a picture ID card (a valid passport, ID card, driving license, marriage certificate) and luggage, if applicable. Please make sure your passport have the valid visa for the destination country, if applicable. A label displaying name, telephone and address details must be put on the luggage.

Check-in staff must be advised of any hand luggage which should be labeled as cabin luggage.

After the information on the documents is checked by the personnel at the check-in counter, passengers will be issued their boarding cards and baggage labels when their luggage is accepted. A small part of the baggage label is attached to the ticket and handed over to the passenger. The other part is tied to the baggage that will be sent to the aircraft. Check-in procedure is finalized when the check-in staff hands over the ticket, ID and the boarding card to the passenger. The boarding card displays details such as flight number, departure gate no., boarding time and seat number.
