The book of Photographic Bodrum published

The photos reflecting the natural and cultural beauties as well as the history of Bodrum, one of the most significant tourism centers in Turkey, has been gathered in a book with the support of TAV Airports.

The photographs that reflect Bodrum's natural beauties and thousands of years of history from the archives of the photographer Oğuz Hamza have been compiled in the book of "Bodrum" and published with the support of TAV Airports. Including the preface written by Bodrum Mayor Mehmet Kocadon and 112 photographs, the book is published in limited edition.

TAV Airports President & CEO Sani Şener stated: “Bodrum, the small town of sponge-fisherman in 1960s, has been transformed into one of the most attractive tourism centers in Turkey, where hundreds of thousands of guests arriving from Turkey and abroad are welcomed every year. With the experience and network that it currently possesses, TAV will enable Bodrum Airport to fulfill its potential and contribute the region to achieve reaching the position it deserves. We are glad to support this book that reflects the magnificent richness of Bodrum with the photographs selected from the archives of photography artist Oğuz Hamza."

Consisting of 112 photographs of Bodrum, the book has 200 pages and a hardcover presented with in a special box. Having an extensive archive of photos regarding the city, the photography artist Oğuz Hamza organized many photography exhibitions related to Bodrum in Paris, Frankfurt and Istanbul in the previous years.

TAV Airports, Turkey’s global brand in airport operations, has taken over operations of the domestic terminal of Milas-Bodrum Airport, the 14th airport it has added to its portfolio. TAV will also be taking over the operation of international terminal on October 22nd, 2015. TAV submitted the best offer (€717 million + VAT) in the tender which was held for the operating rights of Milas-Bodrum Airport until the end of 2035.
