Milas-Bodrum Airport starts to host Cologne flights of Germanwings

Milas-Bodrum Airport continues to expand its flight network. German airline company, Germanwings, started to launch flights from Cologne to Bodrum every Sunday.

Operated by TAV Airports, Turkey's global brand in airport operations, Milas-Bodrum Airport hosted the first Cologne flight of Germanwings. On Sunday, June 5th, at 9:30 am, 112 passengers arrived from Cologne to Bodrum on an Airbus A319. The passengers and the cabin crew were greeted at a cocktail reception, which was also attended by TAV Milas-Bodrum officials. Flying to Milas-Bodrum Airport for the first time, Germanwings will launch flights from Cologne once a week, on Sundays.

TAV Milas Bodrum Chief Operations Officer İclal Kayaoğlu stated: “In order to promote Bodrum, which is a popular tourism destination in Turkey and the region, and increase direct international flights in particular; TAV continues to collaborate with local authorities and NGOs. We are glad to have started hosting the Cologne flights of Germanwings, recently. We will continue contributing to the regional tourism by expanding our flight network."

Germanwings will be operating direct reciprocal flights from Cologne to Milas-Bodrum Airport on Sundays, between June 5th and October 23rd.

Milas-Bodrum Airport hosts 50 airline companies launching domestic and international flights to a total of 79 destinations in 25 countries. Milas-Bodrum Airport hosted more than 26,000 flights in 2015 while providing service to 3.9 million passengers.
